Chef Scott brings 30+ years of culinary know how to the Green.House, having served as Executive Chef to Salty’s on Redondo in Federal Way for 21 years. In 2001, Chef Scott and his wife Gail became partners in one of Olympia’s most iconic waterfront restaurants, Budd Bay Café. With Chef Scott’s extensive seafood repertoire along with his flavor forward menu, and Gail’s attention to guest service, they helped build a thriving business in Olympia. After 12 years in the South Sound they decided it was time for new challenge and a place of their own. Their search for the perfect place led them to Gig Harbor and the Green.House. Here, you will find Chef Scott leading the kitchen and Gail’s inviting smile greeting you at the door.
Chef Scott and Gail believe in fresh, flavorful, simply prepared food at a good value served with integrity. Whether its on the patio, in the bar for happy hour or by the cozy fireplace in the dinning room, they invite everyone to come in and try our delicious new additions to the menus and nightly chalkboard specials.
The restaurant’s dining room is a polished and stunning space that is remarkably inviting. The large dining room features mixed woods, a large contemporary fireplace, stylish lighting and modern tables with simple white napkins. Massive glass walls open to seamlessly connect the dining room with the fireplace heated alfresco terrace. Like the space itself the walls feature contemporary yet striking art by Rebecca Westeren and Catherine Foster. Interior design by Scott Neste of Minor Details.
Group Bookings: Our restaurant is available for meetings and parties throughout the week. It's the perfect place for a rehearsal dinner or reception.
